As you can see, I've already got him muddy. Had a bit of a play in here: http://vamp.idlers.org/~jaffa/dp.htm?Moreton1 and on the OPRA on the other side 8) . Fine when crossing with the flow agains the passenger side, but had to get a decent bow wave on to feel comfortable on the return with the river flowing against the driver's side (air intake). Was cheered on by a bloke on a mountain bike from the bridge, calling out "go for it, it's what they're made for!"
I've found out that ducks don't enjoy surfing bow waves. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Nice pics - did you not get any whilst crossing the ford?
You need to get some more bits on that motor though ... Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Congratulations on the Permagrin Installation
JMC, Silver is the colour of commoners, Java is the colour of the sophisticated choice...... But Blue's pretty cool too. In fact the Postman Pat red is really growing on me as well.
What the Heck, they're all GORGEOUS (which is more than can be said for some of the drivers..... )
Spent an informative half hour with a mate of mine this morning, a chiropractor, who helped me set my seat up properly. Had been permagrimacing as I constantly meddled with the seat settings but now all is well in the world and the grin is in its rightful place; plastered all over my ugly chops. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
