I bought roof bars for my old Disco 2, from LR. They were Thule. How do I know.........they came in a Thule box!!!!!!!
Most of the "roof" attachements and bike carriers available direct from dealers are made by Thule. Damm good product!

Thanks to all. I have now bought a full expedition rack. ladder, roof tent etc all for £10 off fleabay.
Only joking
But I have now done a deal for a set of "one previous careful owner" Landrover bars with a fellow forum user. He assures me that all the software upgrades have been done and all TSB's have been actioned and that as far as he knows they have never failed to start, go up and down, lost power or any of the other common Landrover faults.
Nice people here.

After some playing around with the Thule vehicle database you can get all the bits to fit your Disco3 by ordering a set of bars for a Peugeot 806 1994-02 T-Track . This includes the footpack 4700, adaptor 4710 and a set of 135cm bars in either aero (869) or square profile (769).
I'm still perfectly happy with the Atera ones, just annoyed that Thule seem happy to lie to UK customers. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Ok, I may have to take that back..... www.thule.co.uk now list the following as suitable for Disco3 with T-Track
Fixpoint 3027
Footpack 751
Bars 761 or 861 (Aero)
Perhaps there was a problem after all? I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
