Before i ring the dealer and make myself look a bit silly can i

more complicated than that ?

Yes you can, I always have a private reg on cars from new, or on ex demo. They need the retention cert or the purchased certificate from DVLA. Only rule is it can't make the car look younger, L15 *** would be fine, especially if your name is Elizabeth. The dealer should handle all the details.

ok, today is crunch time
do i order private plate
do i go with "62" reg plate
do i go with "13" reg plate
not a fan of p/plates and £250 to boot
im not overly superstitious and 13 isnt that significant to me BUT do i want to tempt fate ......
Would there actually be a monetry difference oin the cars worth down the line.
ie how much less would the "62" plate trade in value be than a "13" plate trade in value ?
would the difference be more in 6 months as opposed to 2 years ?
Maybe the smart deal is the p/plate as the later trade in on a "13" plate may be worth more than £250 over a "62" at least ??
any help here people, and pics coming of thge car sooooon
cheers

Absolutely, the price difference in a 13 reg compared to a 62 would be well over £250 !
Some people wouldn't be that bothered between the two plates ........but there is a lot who are, and for the time difference I think you'd be mad not to go for the 13 reg !
