Slight revision for the D4 with the Evo 5 model but I have been told that it is a fit, form and function replacement for the 'V' but I have not tested this myself.

externally they should be the same size, internally different, but spares have the same number so I am a little confused, will have a look at mine next week.
V has a venturi burner, Evo has a ceramic disk burner.
Evo has the ability to control fan speeds to optimise combustion to better meet euro requirements.

D4 gone, missed but replaced with a 110 Puma.

The Webasto guy tells me that the more controlled combustion reduces carbon build up, hot spots, fuel usage and emissions. This should increase reliability especially at altitude where they have suffered apparently - clearly the altitude bit is not an issue for the UK but perhaps the reduced carbon build-up will help.
