No longer a Disco owner :(
Just wanted to thank you all for the valuable information gained over the last couple of years from this site.
I finally sold the car two days ago to Gary Elliot so no longer a Disco owner, now I'm sure it won't be the last LR or RR badged car I will ever own but will be moving away from the brand for a while and probably get a van like a Vito or Transporter.
I'm sure I will lurk on here from time to time but not visit daily like I do now.
Oh and I will search through the garage later and see what bits and pieces I have to sell on, I know there are a couple of Xenon headlights that have damaged covers that I got to mess with also a highly modified grill using a Vogue centre piece... who knows what else there is.
Thanks again folks

Daz
All the best
I'm sure you will be back soon...... Although maybe not ? The VW T5 van is a cracker as you know and is on if maybe two or three vehicles I'd gladly chop my D3 in for.
I would be interested to hear his the van is, presuming you get a VDubb ?
Enjoy it which ever you choose

Sorry to see you go Daz, as chalky said the T5 is probably the best out there, wouldn't mind a Caravelle.Displaced Yorkshireman.

No need to leave the forum though as you never know when you will be back for the permagrin.

Try a Vito V6 diesel, similar performance to Disco 4 (and quicker than T5) and a dualliner gives you 5 or 6 seats and loads of space. Sport X gives you bling bits if you wish. I have one as a company car and tax saving goes towards D4, almost a case of cake and eating it!
