a repeat of an old issue ?
intermittent illumination of the airbag warning light but once on stays on till restart
last time 2 yrs ago it was a faulty clock spring which was replaced under warranty
is this the likely cause again or are there any other usual causes
as ive been thinking about a heated steering wheel which needs a different clock spring is this the time to replace the spring with a heated wheel version or is the heated wheel clock spring a lot more expensive than the non heated version ( TLO ? ) MY05 SE D3 Manual my first LR what a car

This sorted my two occurrences; one being last week. Relieved not to be forking out for clock spring or air-bag & the fuss of swapping such. Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

I have had problems with the airbag warning coming on twice (years apart) they were both due to connections under the driver's seat.

I had this, is it when you come to a halt and turn the wheel slightly. Mine turned out to be twisted wires to the airbag, which were straining the earth connection. I re -routed it and not had the problem since.

thanks guys re the under seat connections i pulled the front cover off the weekend and can only see two multiplugs
are these the connectors you mean or are there others more deeply hidden . i did wiggle both connectors but light still came on eventually
if its definately these then i will remove and contact spray them both but they look a fiddle to get out and want to be sure its those before i start any issues resets isolates required pre removal ?
that front protection trim put up a hell of a fight i nearly ended up being propelled into the footwell MY05 SE D3 Manual my first LR what a car
