Bi Xenons on XS what's involved?
Hi apologies in advance, this will have been asked a plenty.
Can anyone point me in the direction of suppliers of Landrover Bi Xenon headlights and common prices and can I ask some stupid questions?
1. When using HID kits is it a case of just using other bulbs/connections etc with existing headlights and not have the use of the side LED's?
2. Is it just a case of swapping the halogens on my XS with Bi Xenons or does something need to be activated by computer etc.
3. I tried to manage to get to Bell Autos 2 years ago when I got the XS but never managed, anyone in Scotland now doing the activations on the XS, timed hearter function. 4 x 4 display etc?
Its been a while since being on the forum and to being able to turn my attention to the XS stuff.

Hid kits are ballast resistors and bulbs, they are direct replacement for std halogen bulbs and wire into the same bulb holder, IIRC the D4 has the "fisheye" lens, so fitting a hid kit is simple Altox GSM FBH controller thread

I got a set of normal xenons off ebay and Wiggs enabled mine MY18 D5 HSE LUX😎

No they have working leds just normal xenons, not those that move when you go round corners !

My local dealer has quoted me £427 each plus VAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!
