Need a picture of a D4 with LR front protection & spots
Just ordered a fuji white D4 with the Black Design pack. I am debating whether to add the LR Protection bar, and some HID spotlamps. I'm not sure if the bar will look right with the black grill behind.
Anyone got a picture of a D4 with the bar fitted, hopefully with spotlamps, the LR website has some but they are straight on pics, I want to see the whole effect if possible.

Each to his own, but it looks best without the A Bar

I think the A Bar suited the D3 but just looks wrong on a D4 Cheers Ian

I like that Russell. I saw an picture of the spots on a D4 a while ago, and they seemed very low and a bit puny, but your bracket lifts them up a bit. What lamps are they? Pls post some more details
Definitely going for the light guards, but may give the sump plate a miss, it does seem to stand out more on the D4.

Ditto
Personally I think the D4 doesn't look as good with full off road kit as the D3 did.
Probably as the D3 is a bit more 'rugged' and suited to the look, whereas the D4 has gone more 'blingy'
I'd gone from having the full off road kit on the D3 down to the basic off-road underpinnings on the D4 - with sump guard, tree sliders, AT tyres, light guards, oh and roof bars to complete the look.
The above spec suits the needs for my off road ventures yet doesn't look out of place when I turn up for a customer appointment in my suit, shirt & tie....... always on the road less travelled 🚧
< ‘tis but a mere scratch …….. it’ll polish out.

The lights are LF170's and I am very please with them. I will dig out details about bracket and PM you later. The lights are very very stable and do not vibrate, only down side is you need to remove lights to get grill out, but that is just two 17mm nts so very simple and quick to do, plus grill does not come off very often.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

At least you don't have to remove the A bar to get the grill out like on the 3!
Thanks for advice, looks like that's the way to go.

I need a little help with wiring in spotlights to my D4. I have everything connected up but can't seem to get the spots to activate. Checked my earth and it seems good. Checked the spots and their wiring is good by connecting directly, all is good. I have tried connecting the relay trigger to both the black and red wires at the bulb but can't get either the switch or the spots to light. I have another relay and switch I can test with but I suspect my wiring would be the best place to start. Any ideas where I'm going wrong?
Thanks
