Few new bits on my D3 tomorrow....

so YOG goes in for its yearly service tomorrow (unless it snows)

To be fitted....
Front arb bushes
V8 disk upgrade

Thanks to Nick for supplying all the bits..

Fitted so fAr from the TLO list of bits

ACM for my iPhone, not cheap but IMO worth it, it works great and looks great coupled with a Brodit pass through holder
From Mr Dsl developments of course Thumbs Up

The front window trim things that were bubbly, in the bin now, dead easy job just don't drop a screw in the snow Rolling Eyes

I so didn't follow the instructions for the acm fitment' I took the top cubby glove box out (yoink)
And screwed the USB and audio sockets inside, how did I get the screw driver in I hear you ask.

Map it out on top of the box and drill corresponding holes in the top ( wont be seen when refitted)
So you can poke your screwdriver through to screw the modules down.
Screws poking from the bottom of casing were cut off with what I call mini bolt croppers.

I think the box of tricks was supposed to reside behind the glovebox somewhere but I put it where I removed my dab unit By the interior temperature sensor, wrapped in sponge so no rattles or movement.

I said my Indy can have YOG until Friday pm as I can use another vehicle to get home tomorrow night, he did mention steering rack ends could be a clonk culprit...

I leave it in his very capable hands to source and fit any extra anti clonk bits

Looking forward to what I hope feels like a new motah after this lot...

Hi Yogi,

With the very sad demise of Offroad Essentials can you let me know who your indy is please?

Cheers.

Well I didn't get YOG back today Big Cry

So I had a rattly cold misted up crup hole of a van drive home tonight, with either radio2 or an Abba cd to entertain me Shocked

My Indy had a delayed start due a call out, I did tell him to complete my list of jobs and get it All sorted, so he has until 5pm Friday to do them now....
Unless he's borrowed it to go up the Burton Dassett hills Neutral
