Lets get this in perspective.....I reckon Ryan has a great deal on here....£650 fitted for ladder and expo rack....by his previous calculations, It works out at around £28 for the fitting....I reckon thats pretty darn good so here you go, my official order!
Ryan, order up my rack and ladder and I'll pop by the dealership next week for the needful (my rail trim strips have the blanking plugs so easy peasy)
(only thing is tell SWMBO that its around £500 all up)

Just another question. Looking at the above posts and the fitting instruction for the Rear ladder it is rivetted onto the tailgate behind the numberplate holder. Is there any reason why it is not just bolted on and is therefore removable? Might be occasions when it would be useful to take it off.
I suppose once the ladder goes on the carwash is out!

You'll still be back before the car is here! March now I'm told. So that would be great thanks. LLR know and will have a paid for ladder and rack waiting!
So, no-one got any good reasons why the ladder is riveted and not bolted - or is it just in case you park in Paisley and want to still find it there when you go back?

The rivets aren't rivets as such, but rivnuts - basically a 'threaded hole' rivet which the ladder is then bolted into, so the ladder is removable. However, the top of the ladder also has a large sticky pad, which would be destroyed if you tried to remove it. Disco 5 HSE Lux

What a great idea. Just had 2 new orange stickers arrive today to replace my grey ones which don't really stand out enough.
