Looks good. Spent yesterday at work driving our D3 on some snow covered roads on the wolds in East Yorkshire. Came across a 05 plate silver D3 blocking our path which had seriously got stuck and was dragged out by a local farmer with an old tractor. This was followed at Beverley Westwood finding a group of what appeared to be young farmers with a VW Transporter 4motion attempting to drag a rather stuck Mercedes ML out of the snow with no success. Our work D3 managed to drag the ML free. I did manage to get a photo of our work D3 in the snow will post when I remember how.

Really nice D4 and pics. Great colour in the snow, esp pic 1.
Would like to keep my spots when I loose the a bar and mod my grille from D3 to D4. Seeing yours I might use silver rather than black now as originally planned. Mine's Buck Blue.
First I heard of the rule of thirds, will use that. VR6 > 330D Touring > D3 HSE > !?XC90?!

Due to the snow, they are all slightly under exposed. The camera sees the expanse of white and thinks it needs to compensate by reducing the exposure. You need to tell it otherwise by adding some +exposure compensation. Probably +.3 or .7 would have done it. That way the snow will look white and not grey.
Good tip re the rule of thirds too, can instantly make any photo look better!

Fibonacci knows a thing or two about good proportion in pics. It is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.

From the early 70s all Army personnel, prior to deploying to N Ireland, had to go through pre-NI training at Lydd Training Camp (and Hythe ranges). The training was first-class (as to be expected from the British Army) and very, very realistic. The set-up included 'Tin City' used for riot training, patrolling and anti-ambush/sniping drills but the mock N Irish street/town square set was straight out of Hollywood and very realistic. Today, our Armed Forces go through similar training preparing them for operations in Afghanistan etc. at other UK locations.
