I really like the colour, the prices make the mind boggle. I bought my D3 a shade over three and a half years old and paid less than £15000. As much as I'd like a D4 it just doesnt make sense financially.

Is it a 255bhp or 245bhp?
I thought the 255 had 230 emissions and the 245 had 244 emissions?
The autotrader ad says 230g but DVLA vehicle check says 244g
Its a 6 speed isnt it, judging by the stick?
Thanks

The build sheet says 3.0 SDV6 and the logbook says 244 G/KM CO2.
Not sure if its 245 or 255 not that it makes much difference and yes its a 6-speed as per the gear knob.

I looked online at an HSE in this colour and didn't like it so didn't buy
2 months later I did an experience day at Luton Hoo and drive this same colour. Its completely different in the flesh And gorgeous
It's a more suble silver than the pure silver and REALLY suits D4
My opinion anyway D4 HSE - Aintree Green
D4 Orkney my13 - gone
Stornaway D4. Gone, Didn't like it at all
D3 silver manual. Loved my first LR

i worked on one of these the other week and must admit it wasn't a colour i would of thought about but seeing it in the flesh as said before i think its a really good colour and suits the D4 and would have one if i could afford it
Gary good luck with the sale

I have owned both 6 and 8 speed D4 models
The real world difference is small and in a blind test (dangerous !) I doubt most could tell any difference in power or gear shift patterns
I have also had a few of the colours ipanema sand best - but this silver is next on my list and looks like the best now
(But not this one - sorry Gaz)Illegitimi Non Carborundum
