You do not have register separately on Genesis. The login details are the same as the ones for the restricted area when you registered your nanocom.

Thanks
Busy doing all the updates this morning. Cool piece of kit and better than the old Nanocom one which I still have.

Well, I received my nanocom Saturday morning and I've been spending the better part of the day and today so far going through all of the documentation to make sure I get everything set up properly. Sure would be nice if someone was home at BBS to let me into their forum on the weekend.
Have to laugh because you can sure tell this product and instructions were created by engineers (I'm one too). The documentation is hard to follow, and it seems as if I have had to scavenge to various sources to find the instructions I need, like searching for videos on YouTube.
Plenty of suggestions running through my mind right now, but I'm going through things methodically as anyone else should in order to get the most out of this kit. Looking forward to plugging it into the D3 but at this point I don't think I'd know what to do with it as I'm still looking for further instructions. 1998 Discovery LSE - Gold, 249,000+ miles, completely stock

Not just me then. I think (hope) that when the rush has settled, there will be time to spend on making The system more user friendly. Like a link to Genesis from the nanocom forum or the restricted area. Having said that, I like it to the difference between android and iPhone. Android (nanocom). Less user friendly, but far more powerful. Or iPhone (a.n. other system) plug and play but fairly limited. Horses for courses I suppose.

Hi DiscoNels,
We have been trying to offer as much out of hours support as we can since launch, its normally 9-5 weekdays, unfortunately forum access (for now) has to be processed in house during those times.
I do get the part about the "written by engineers" , well have a look at it when things calm down a bit. Also, feedback from the past week or so has been great in pointing out what we have taken for granted and what needs further explanation.
But like Discosear pointed out, there is a delicate balance between complexity and functionality, and if you want to get the best out of the tool people will have to, like you have done, read up on both our system and the vehicle communications aspects.
Thanks
Chris

By Mid day Friday of this week, which is but a few days away now, all BBS staff will certainly most hopefully be the same and IMHO well deservedly.
My staff and especially Chris have clearly worked their absolute asses off and have certainly gone that extra mile to provide the mother of all diagnostic systems in time for most to have and enjoy this in time for Christmas and epecially at such an introductary discount as we are currently offering.
When this partular ship of opportunity finally sails later this week, on behalf of you all, i will certainly buy Chris a very well earned first drink

Big Cheese meant "drinks" I'm sure unless it's a barrel of whiskey?
Again guys do have to credit the behind the scenes team at Blackbox. Some in particular.
"Kouba frate"? (Inside joke)

Last shipping before we close for Christmas will be late afternoon on Thursday the 19th of December.
Orders can still be made on line with the 20% Christmas discount up until the 31st of December, but orders will not be processed and goods not shipped until we return on Tuesday Jan 7th.
Good Thinking HD, The process should be automated by then so you should have no problems.

Chris
You know full well what i mean.
The parties and goings on we hold here at BBS are certainly not something that should be publically exposed.
For sure Jason would not like the pictures of him with a fake spider on his head trying to look like Whoopie Goldberg being posted up, Just as much as i and others would not like to see the pictures of us in Pink ladies underpants.
