Wanted Drivers side headlight reflector
Hi can anyone help ? I got home fri night to find I had a front sidelight not working (drivers side ) upon closer investigation I found that the bulb had failed and during its failing process it had had a little fire and melted the bulb holder and part of the reflector making it impossible to fit a new bulb holder and it also looks horrible . Does anyone have a spare reflector from a scrap headlight ? . Long shot I know but I thought I'd ask before I go on the hunt for a headlight . It is drivers side and xenon however I think the reflector would be the same xenon or halogen .

It would appear there is a slight difference as there is a mounting glued onto the back of the reflector for the bulb it would be possible if the mounting can be removed satisfactorily.

Hi ade as you can see from the pics it's the other part of the reflector with the cornering lamp in it . Do you have that part ?

The reflector does not have the corner lamp in, but it does have the marking for it, so it could be cut out

Any good?
Hi beanie I have managed to remove the mounting flange from the reflector and think it would be pretty straight forward to modify the one you have
I've sent you a pm
If I upgrade the headlight main beam to the 100% more light type (as others have done here)
Do I run the risk of meting the refector of my headlights ?
Those who have done the bigger brighter blindlingly powerfull headlight upgrade - have you had any problems such as this ?BREXIT - done properly.
