Have I done something wrong???????????

Went to a mates garage today to change the bottom arms, it all went better than expected.
Pulled her off the ramp and all was well, chuffed to bits. Very Happy

When I went home I got about half a mile and the dreaded warning lights of doom struck. Shocked

DSC Off, Special Progs Off and of course lowered suspension. Crying or Very sad

Turned her off for 5 mins, restarted and another half mile later same again. Big Cry

Question is am I looking at the brake light switch and bulbs as search suggests or can I have c*cked something up?

Car is an 07 diesel manual with 50K on it.

Chap that works in the same business centre I do had the same thing after he has his lower arms changed at a local non-LR indie. His dash did the Christmas tree impression until he had a four-wheel alignment done. All ok now so I'd get that done before you loose any sleep over it Thumbs Up

Thanks guys Thumbs Up

May try the steering angle sensor recalibration if a snap on reader will do it.

Dont really want to go driving around on low suspension, or is it still ok to use as normal?

I was intending on getting the alignment done in a week or so, but nearest is about 35 miles away.

Wheel alignment is out, affecting the steering angle sensor Thumbs Up

Needs the alignment set properly, and the angle sensor re-calibrated

Possibly, but will need to be done again once the alignment has been done.

That, and driving with the alignment out will chew its way through tyres Whistle

make sure they didn't tighten the bush bolts on the hoist. Needs to br done on the ground at normal height.

They need to be loosened off to adjust the camber/castor anyway, so it wouldn't make that much difference

The new bushes on mine split because the dealers new mechanic tightened them up on the hoist.

Can't see that being the issue, as they all have to be loosened again to set the camber properly

Even the main hydro bush? Can't see why that needs to be loosened to chang the camber.

The rear bush affects the castor, and toe angles which should all be adjusted during a full 4 wheel alignment
