No battery issues that I am aware of, however our disco gets v little use now and we get HDC fault etc according to low battery - we did before the tracker snoot bothered. (New alternator and battery though,if yours is old may not be quite so forgiving) if I knew how to measure its draw I would but I don't
Your showing as a D3
D4 has a battery monitor which causes no end of issues ...
Not necessarily stop the car starting. ... But other issues like shutting down timed climate / screen / reversing cam to name a few .
I got to the point were I have disabled mine G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Sort of scum that comes to pinch a high end car that may have a tracker on will have a signal blocker/scrambler
And remember they need the keys to pinch these so it won't automatically trigger either some insurers have a cut off of estamated value where they stipulate a tracker it may be you are valuing at £42k but at £40k it would not need one
LRI threshold is vehicles over £50k ..so if you don't want to compromise your cover level you are pretty much stuck with it 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

You will not need to compromise cover level if you use a different provider not sure how much the next provider on the list wants over the current insurer but at £200 it would be cheaper to go with them as next year it will most likely depreciate to under the threshold required to have a tracker but you will still have the subscription to pay and won't have covered the original purchase cost back yet for a technology that doesn't work Club original turbo

A lot of insurance companies have this as a requirement, esp over 50k. You can try badgering them if it is a broker. I'm with Admiral, no need for a tracker.
Not only battery drain to worry about, if you have an other type of electrical fault, only OE stuff will be covered when being put back together, no point on fitting anything else but LR Trackstar if you must have a system, IMHO. Gone: 2010MY 59 plate Bali Blue HSE.
Also gone : 2012MY 12 plate Firenze Red HSE.
In Bits : 2005 55plate 4.0 V8 Ibex 250s SW.

I see didn't notice it was in the D4 section, also didn't know about the battery monitor, I am now more informed and my post was pointless Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:
"What is the first rule when overlanding?"
I would Reply:

Best bet is an mrack fully self contained unit - no wiring or connection to the car no battery drain and no wires for thieves to trace to find the tracker. You just hide it somewhere that only you know where.

I'm in the same situation with LV and the declared value on my D4 is less than £35k. I was already with LV when I picked up the D4 last week, and they have given me 28 days to get one fitted.
Must admit I'm thinking I would be better changing to a different insurer as the costs seem prohibitive.

I searched the net and found the best price for the Trackstar. The dealer matched that price and I was happy as they arranged it all.

I had been with Esure for four years but had to change as they refused to offer cover on a D4, LV wanted £550 + £500 excess and £125 excess on the screen then would not cover for theft or attempted theft until a Tracker was fitted, like others, have gone with Admiral £100 excess, £50 excess on the screen, and £380 fully comp, could have had it for £330 but Admiral charge all named drivers £25 each if they have been on a Speed Awareness Course in the last five years and no Tracker required. It turned out £20 cheaper than the Freelander 2 I had

Just changed from a D3 to a D4 mid term through the insurance. LV wanted additional payment making £500 for the year and refused to cover for theft without a tracker being fitted. Went on Confused.com, Tesco insurance same level of cover £350 without the tracker
