Help with rear o/s puncture, where to jack

Sorry to bother people but I just parked up my car and as I got out heard a hissing sound, the concrete ground was wet, I shone a torch towards the hissing at the rear o/s of the vehicle and on closer inspection saw bubbles coming out from under the tyre, seems I have driven over something Rolling Eyes Had a look under the car and saw a hole in the chassis about a ft or so forward of the wheel, is that the point I should jack it up? I remember seeing an adapter for a trolley jack with a nipple on it, so guessed it could be there. At the marina, it's peeing down and blowing a gale so will sort it tomorrow, any guidance appreciated, as I am out and about I only have LR standard tools.

Thats right Thumbs Up off side is straight forward. Its the nearside that causes the confusion, as the compressor housing has a similar hole in the bottom. Good luck with the standard tools, they are sheite!

Thanks Gareth, I know they are Censored , problem is emptied the car of gear before coming down as I have picked up a load of dive gear including cylinders, so needed room, Sod's law I guess Rolling Eyes I have to unload all of that to get under the rear sets as I haven't done the adaption with the socket, and the weather is absolutely awful Sad

What mode is best to have the suspension in as I need to unwind the spare as well?

Put it in off-road height first - works a lot better and you can get the tyre out easier Thumbs Up Also stops the other side dropping. (Well is does in my car)

See if any one else has a bottle jack you can use on the wishbone under the suspension / shock mount adjacent to the wheel, that way you will not have to jack the entire cars weight to outwit the suspension Thumbs Up

You can support the chassis on the LR jack for extra security if required.

There are huge blocks of wood here used to block off boats when lifted out of the water, will have a couple underneath for safety while changing over the wheel, will also take all the cylinders out of the boot to make it lighter Thumbs Up

WTF you have to EMPTY the boot in the peeing rain to get to the spare wheel winch Evil or Very Mad

Had Censored around to get the T bar thoroughly the hub centre, must be an easier option as whelk up at the front on the cowling and me at the back with big hands poking through the holes of the wheel spokes, should have called the AA Rolling Eyes

OK done the change, jack looks scary at an angle Shocked

Now my hands are FILTHY Evil or Very Mad

NOW, how the Censored do I get the jack back in the holder, it seems to have grown!!!!!
