I have the mirror with the Homelink function, and the auto dimming function. But it is not backlit, causing a problem when I enter my garage.....ie. it's hard to find the right button. Is this a warranty item I should have checked by my dealer? '06 LR3 4.4 V8 HSE Heavy Duty package, Satellite Radio, Luxury Package

I have the same unit and it is not backlit. '10 LR4 Nara Bronze V8 HSE + everything

The Homelink function is a built-in garage door opener. On mirrors with the function there are two buttons on the mirror for radio control of opening gates, garages etc.  '06 LR3 4.4 V8 HSE Heavy Duty package, Satellite Radio, Luxury Package
