You can not jail break the apple tv 3rd gen yet due to the chipset they have used in them.
The reason they are selling for so much jail broken or not, is the fact that they dont make them anymore.
If you jail break it, you can put catch up tv on it, xmbc so you can access your NAS library from your tv.d4 HSE in Corris Grey with Black options pack

if you have/every get a NAS, you can watch all your films, pictures or listen to you music in you library using XBMC on your apple tv.d4 HSE in Corris Grey with Black options pack

What's the difference between and iPad3 retina and this new iPad4?
I bought an iPad retina display on the day they came out but I bought another iPad about 3 weeks ago at a discount on 'Apple black Friday' for my daughter's xmas pressie. Haven't opened it yet but the Apple store still only shows the iPad retina display. Where have you seen this iPad4 advertised?

According to the Apple store, all retina display models have the A6 chipset. The slower A5 chipsets were only fitted to the iPad2 models. Are you sure that you and Glos boy are not confusing iPads 2&3 wth 3&4?
