dodgy headlight

my near side zenon headlight stays on full beam after dip has been selected... with my son behind the wheel flashing the lights it looks like some "cover" or something seems to stick. The halogen high beam works fine. (not adpative!) sometimes it sorts itself out other times i need to switch off the lights and engine and start again... oncoming drivers are getting seriously peed off.... is this another trip to the dealer???
 i'm lovin it....

check the wiring loom socket connector is firmly in place..but its sounds as though you may have a fault on the shutter TBH

As I'm sure you know, the xenon high/low beam is functioned by the way of a shutter portioning off part of the beam.
It is obvious that the shutter is sticking sometimes and if you want to avoid a visit to the dealer, (foolish IMO if it's under warranty) then you will have to take it apart and find out what's causing it!

Do you want to do that?

Take it to the bloody dealer!

Then they can fill in the feedback form which will help others in the long run!

Sorry to be so arsey Wink but you don't pay £30K+ to pi$$ about like this! Wink
 Back in the game!
