Error Code help

My D4 is coming up 2 years old and, touch wood, has been faultless. However, I do have an FCR and check the vehicle from time to time.

Over time, the FCR has reported faults in several modules but they are all only ever P3201 – described as an “unknown intermittent error”. BBS tell me that this is a generic code for which Landrover has never issued a definition. I've cleared them each time in order to monitor for any recurrence.

The latest batch has appeared under Audio Control (new), Instrument Pack and Body Control. I have, in the past, also seen it under Hevac. The Hevac code disappeared after LR re-gassed the aircon during the first service. However, the instrument pack code is particularly persistent and appears almost every time I check.

I wondered if anyone had seen this pattern/code before and had any suggestions as to what could be causing it.

PS A good Christmas and happy New Year to all!

Thanks guys. I guess I’ll just keep checking from time to time and, unless I experience a problem in the meantime, will raise it come service time.

If anyone else has experienced this code and subsequently discovered what it means, I’d still be interested.
