Just to clarify can the adaptive headlamps be adjusted up a bit as ive notice the short beam syndrome too
I just looked at the back of my Adaptive Xenon headlamps and yes, there are 2 adjustment screws (Hex Head). One inboard and one outboard. You'll need a stubby wrench to get to the inboard one. At least this is how it is on a U.S. model LR3 HSE.2006 LR3 HSE Java Black

Not just a hex head, they are designed to be adjusted using a standard Phillips / cross head screwdriver on the "cog" part Altox GSM FBH controller thread

So presumably if my beam is too low, then tough luck as I can't lift it with a screw?
TBPH I'm not sure
I have adaptive Xenons in but without the ECU to control them
I have set mine using the cogs, having had them in bits to de-tango them I do not think that the stepper motors will have enough travel to override the manual height setting, IIRC its more a case of adjusting for front end lifting under hard acceleration.
I'm someone with active Xenons will be better place to confirm though

Don't use a spanner(wrench) use a flat blade screwdriver Looking from the top the adjusting screw is knurled with a cut out for access with a screwdriver, one click at a time.
Sorry Beanie so excited I missed your post.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
