But why would a self respecting Disco lover settle for a lower class of car that can't do half of what his current one could do.... FFRR Owner, very nearly became a D3 owner

Well as someone who is one of a very small handful that uses their L322 off road in anger im not sure it will cope as well though it will be another 7yrs+ before we see anyone dare with their L405 i guess but by that time the amount of electrical gremlins that will be creeping out of the woodwork will scare people onto the L322's instead FFRR Owner, very nearly became a D3 owner

I heard earlier ones used to have a real liking for chewing gearboxes, and apparently front suspension bushes too. Thats said, no car is without its foibles! What a car it is the RR still2023 Ineos Grenadier 3.0 Diesel Commercial

Very true but not as bad as a D3/4...
I think you can rebuild TD6/4.4/4.2 engines as well
I chose mine over a Disco 3 HSE and haven't regretted, its not had anything major go wrong yet other than its current woe of a sticky rear caliper and the odd flat battery as i've been a plank but it works, it goes off road and holds its head high with Modified Cherokee's, Defenders and the like without a problem Plus i can drive around cheshire and pull up at the lights next to a White or Black Disco and know the most off road the disco will have seen will be a curb taking little jonny to school at the end of the street before taking its drive onto pilates or wags coffee/shopping session... :pFFRR Owner, very nearly became a D3 owner
