bad starting in teesside area, help please

i have listed this issue earlier but wondered if anyone knows anyone in teesside area who would be willing to fix the car for me, this morning was frosty and when trying to start it it just turned over fine but refused to try and fire up, i was told to spray some back to black into the air intake pipe and it started straight up and has been fine all day with no problems, i have been told it could be the heater plugs but that sounds very expensive, please give me any ideas you may have as i am worried the same problem will happen agin in the morning. thanks steve

There is an indie on the road between Stokesley & Normanby (A172) with LR diagnostic equipment.

Not used them yet myself but they have been recommended by a few folk. Been warned off the one in Stokesley on the industrial estate Thumbs Up
