Thanks Ian,
Have sent you another pm about this for some more details.
My dealer is adamant my car will not warm the cabin even though I know it did when I first had it and melted icey windows etc. I'm stuck now.

Wiggs, I presume it did fire the FBH then? Must say when mine WAS working correctly I am sure via remote it warmed up when atmospheric was higher than the FBH's own 6 degree limit.
My dealer is still adamant there is nothing wrong with my car and that it is not designed to warm the cabin or turn the heater blower on
I reckon all I can now do is lock myself in the car on a cold morning and then operate the remote and sit there and chart what actually happens. Probably it will then drain the battery to such an extent that I won't be able to get out and will become a frozen corpse BUT would that actually prove it is faulty

Mine was set to start at 0810 as usual this morning, I went out at approximately 0820 and when I opened the car there was hot air blowing from the windscreen vents even though the ambient temperature was 8°C

Well Chaps my REMOTE TIMED CLIMATE is working . So the latest LR software fix for the original problem does appear to have worked.
Much thanks to Russell and Hairy Dan whose combined input managed to make my dealer understand what I was saying it SHOULD do and what he was saying it SHOULDN'T.
I have now sat through 2 full cycles inside the car after firing the Remote with the car locked. On both occasions it was ABOVE 6 degrees ambient.
It's a most complicated sequence it goes through but I can confirm that on both occasions it BLEW WARM air via BOTH the SCREEN and FOOTWELL vents, nothing from the fascia vents. For about 20 minutes, which is what it should run for.
I can also confirm that the Remote fires it up at ABOVE 6 degrees ambient and did warm a totally cold car at 11 degrees ambient at one point. So I reckon Wiggs's 15 degree cut off for warming could well be right.
