Mirror dip - reset issue ?

Anyone on the forum who has experienced any problems with the mirrors not returning to "normal" position after reversing ? I have this problem after a major software upgrade on my 05-HSE. LR claims there is no problem, and suggest that I re-save my settings for seat and mirrors, well the problem is still there every so and then..very annoying. Evil or Very Mad

Yes, I have had this problem from the start, been back to the dealers 4 times, changed some hardware module (twice), just got the vehicle back 2 days ago after specifically taking it in for this and the problem is this there.

Have observed that it most likely will happen when after Reverse put it straight into park and switch off. The mirrors will reurn to normal. When you start up again in a short time they will dip.

Seem to less likely happen if you move from Reverse to Drive and then Park.

Only way I have found to rest them is to press the memory recall button on the seat. This is a bit of a nuisence if you press the wrong recall button and the other setting is for your partner who is a lot shorter.

There are many discussion on this, some embedded in other topics. I am beginning to wonder if this problem can be fixed. I will persist with the LR Dealer on this one as this was one of the excusses I had to go to an HSE.

Isnt this a standard feature of the SE too, my SE has it (memorys and mirror dip) or would this have been an optional upgrade?

I have the same with my mirrors not returning to memory which the dealer states should be fixed this year!

Also, has anyone else noticed that occaisionally, usually overnight, the drivers seat resets itself a fraction such that when you get in the car the seat back feels more upright and when you press the memory button it returns to the memory position? I guess the 'creep' forward feels like about 5mm

I've had 2 modules so far, still not returning properly. Have got used to pressing memory button for seat to correct but could be a problem if wrong button pressed. Car goes in for service tomorrow have mentioned it again so will wait and see.
