NEED HELP!!! Have something wrong with my Discovery 3 2006. Get HDC failure and then the one after the other lamp starts waring. Then the car dies, battery dead. Have changed battery then the car worked for two days. This morning the same thing happened again. Any suggestions what might be wrong????

This is usually caused by an electrical spike often attributed o a blown bulb or faulty brake light switch. Although after turning everything off for a while it all works again. Search for HDC, for example:

Ok. But will that really run out the battery?

I would suggest the Alternator has failed. same thing happened with mine two years ago.
Car wouldn't start a couple of times over a couple of days, HDC fault alarms etc, needed to jump start just to get home.
I replaced the battery for a brand new one and all was fine for two more days and then absolutely nothing, couldn't even unlock the central locking. Managed to get in the car and found the battery measured zero volts.
A short circuit within the alternator drained the battery dead
I managed to replace the alternator and car has been absolutely perfect since.
My car is a 2005 tdv6 hse

Agree with the alternator failure. Common issue, especially coming into winter
