Does any one know the going rate for front lower wish bones fitting only ? I'll get the required bits off nick I just need some one to conduct the spannering ?
I will prob have the arb bushes done at the same time too ?
You can of course PM me ?
I think I will opt for new wish bones as described above. Only dead fish go with the Flow !

Chalky - do you think Nick (TLO) at Yeovil LR would consider a "group " buy - I need both front wishbones (was thinking of going RRS sport as they are the armoured D3 version and might last a little longer) and all the bolts as there are several of us?! We can ask - I will get my parts number list together and email him.

That sounds like a good idea ! It'll give Nick something to do on a Monday morning that's for sure
I didn't know that the RRS ones were the versions for the Armoured D3 ?
I thought I had read somewhere that the D4 ones were better ?
I'm sure that we can get this clarified and then start up a group buy as long as Nick can get us a good price on a GB ?
Would it be a good idea to include ARB bushes ?
Also is there anything else that requires attention in that area whilst everything is off ?
Any advice gratefully appreciated ? Only dead fish go with the Flow !

Yes I would get the ARB done at the same time easier when you are fitting the lower arms anyway, the other things to check while your in there is the track rod ends , drop links, flexi brake hoses, and the CV joint gaiter.

Cheers, how big a job are the track rod ends ? and the drop links ?
It's having its MOT next Sat and I'm fearing the worst to be honest, my theory is its if all comming off then having 4 wheel alignment then I only want to be doing the alignment once !
I had a 4 WD golf once and every time that went to the dealers it had 4 wheel alignment, cost me a bloody fortune.
Does any one know the cost of drop links & track rod ends ? Only dead fish go with the Flow !

It will probably add 30-45 mins aside to the time for changing the lower arms if they are not seized up, but both a lot easier to do at the same time as the lower arms if they need doing.

ok, prices for a GB of minimum 8 to make it worth my while as there is not a lot of room to manouvere on pricing so its pretty much bare bones stuff
As Chalky has asked i have included the track rods/ends and ARB bushes in the price
These can be added to an order of lower arms at the below prices but not available as standalone at that price...see above
if there is enough interest i'll open a GB seperate thread
