Hi
I have a 07 plate D3 with standard halogen non adjustable headlights. It is my intention to export to France and need to replace the headlights. For the CT (French MOT)
The adjustable ones, I believe, are the xenon type.
Which ones from what model will fit as something changes around this year.?
Will D4 ones fit? 3 RR Classics (last one broke off-road) All gone
S3, take off road, break, repair, repeat. Gone
Disco 2, for sale, 12 month MOT, next one looking expensive (r)
Hence
Disco 3, already electrickery faults

D4 ones will physically fit but the profile of the lights and the wings is different on the D4 compared to the D3 so you’d need to change all those bits as well!
Any set from 05-09 D3 will fit but will need a GAP or similar software tool to reprogram in the CCF so the car knows xenon’s are fitted. Good sets are getting harder to find, even more so for LHD.. good hunting I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Mine has had the D4 face lift but can’t imagine the wings of front valence have been replaced.
Have the GAP tool so no prob changing.
The xenon as I understood are changed RH to LH drive by a lever inside the headlight cluster 3 RR Classics (last one broke off-road) All gone
