No indicator tick, lights on alarm or front pdc ?
Anyone know where the sounder lives ?
I left my side lights on last night and woke up to a dead truck. Being new to D3 ownership it took me 10 mins to find the lock on the passenger door so i could get in and pop the bonnet to jump it

You did well to get in via the passenger lock. Unless really looked after it tends to fail so towing electrics are a good place to apply power. Others have found the passenger door parked near to the garage wall, causing similar issues.
As for the sounder it is part of the instrument binnacle PCB. The sounder itself is pretty generic and some on the forum have soldered a new one to the PCB.

So is it likely the sounder has failed, rather than anything else ? Dont mind soldering pcb's if thats all it needs. Next challenge will be getting at it to see what it is and source a replacement
Doh you beat me with the picture

Its in the instrument cluster and should be obvious.
Go careful as the dash contains the imboliser code.
And park it somewhere sensible when you remove dash.

Before you do anything I'd try a hard reset, details in the wiki at the top of the page. Simple and free !

No indicator tick..
Is Mole 734 suggesting that a Hard Reset may make the indicator etc sounder work?

As the op said the failure happened after a flat battery, and the car does strange things in that scenario, a hard reset seems the first (and cheapest) way to start

So if the battery is fine a hard reset as described by Mole 734 is not suggested to cure the silent speaker?

fully charge the battery and do a hard reset, however if the damage to the battery is significant you may be advised to replace the battery. You really need to do a test on the battery for damage, Halfords might do you a battery print off of the report (If its not a Yuasa battery take it in and they will normally do you a print off to try to sell you a new one if it is just say its under warranty)Must stop buying shiny toys....
