Does anybody know of a company that is good for insuring land rovers? I am 18 and am finding very hard to find cheep insurance for my defender. Most however wont insure becuase it's a 2.5.
Had many argument with companies that yes it has a 2.5 but is slower than a 1.2 corsa! and increased visibility is safer, not sporty etc so less likely to crash but still say no!

Have you tried NFU? They will understand the difference between a Landy and a CorsaSteve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
just tried moneysupermarket.com and got a quote of £700 from bell! quite good considering most companies say no! dad refused over £2000 for insurance on disco though
Will try NFU though - i hear they are really cheap. do you have to have a farming connection though?Discovery 3 - TDV6 SE - Bonnati Grey

They were £100 cheaper than any other I could get and just seemed on the ball really. Have changed the Merc to them whilst I await the black beast!

Home insurance is due in May, so will more than likely move to them then. They couldn't beat Direct Line for SWMBO's Scenic though, £125 more...... Bodsys Brake Bible

Just got NFU'd today prior to sinking in salisbury on saturday. How good are they then
At £575 they were £100 dearer than our last insurer and £200 dearer than the quotes we got for this year. But I think it is more than worth it for the peace of mind off road. Landrover were £750
just filled in a form given to me by NFU as im a young driver. Its basically a contract between my parents and myself (not legally binding) that says ill be a good driver and not drink and drive etc... They gave us £100 back!! now to try for insurance on the disco....!Discovery 3 - TDV6 SE - Bonnati Grey
