2012 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 HSE Auto Unknown ColourDiscovery 4
Warnings on dash.

Got back into the car last night started it up and got 2 bongs and warnings up on dash. One was special programmes not available and other was transmission fault. It's done it a couple if times before. And had it on diagnostics but nothing showing on faults. Anyone any ideas??

Most likely battery, think these are communciation errors that show up when battery is low. I get special programs off, blah most morning after my wife has used it to go 4 mins up the road and back. always starts fine and disapears for a bit after a longish journey.

I used to get transmission fault message on my old d3 and it was a corrosion of a pin on the transmission module in the engine bay.If any help.

I had the same problem on my car a while ago and it was due to bad contact on my transmision ECU, Land Rover just changed my ECU out, not sure why, but sinse then I never had that problem before.

For what it costs check the rear light/brake bulbs. I have had the same warning lights and a change of the rear light bulb fixed. It's been reported on here a few times.
