Tyre Labeling.

You may have seen this in other threads re General AT and Goodyear Duratrac....................Well this morning we had some new Goodyear G90 750x16 into stock, now some will know that this tyre is favored by the British Army and is a very noisy tyre on the road and very interesting in the wet to say the least but the Tyre Label says at 76db. The Fuel Code is F which is the same as a General AT and .........................wait for it........the Wet Grip is C Rolling with laughter .

This is why I say it's a little meaningless with the Tyre Labeling as it stands, I do think in time we will get honest and realistic figures from tyre manufactures.

So don't get toooooooooooooooooooooooooo confused about Tyre Labeling. Thumbs Up

O.K. Some will say that it's a very narrow tyre compared to others we are talking about but have just looked up 750x16 Michelin XZL which is rated as B for wet grip.

I do think this is a type of properganda and is very missleading.
