Discovery 4 DRL Factory Fit
Just thought I would share photo of my Disco 4 which was supplied with Land Rover DRL's.
They are only on when the main lights are off. As soon as it gets dark when the lights are on auto they go off and the main lights come on.
I think they are an option now to be dealer fitted.
The light is very bright.

Ive fitted the Phillips Daylight 4 to my D4 and they work on a voltage drop to initiate.
So when i put my remote heater on, the DRL control box senses a voltage drop and lights the DRL thus also letting me know the heater is running

Where the DRL's are Fitted
Here you can see where the LR DRL's are fitted.
There is a small grille which is removed and the DRL fits directly into this space.
Hope this helpsBrand Loyalty Is An Expensive Business

Disco 4 DRL
I had these HDI DRL's fitted by a local company that specialize in car customisation. The lights are on all the time but dim slightly when the headlamps come on.

Can I ask what brand of drl you have fitted mate (hella/ring etc)? When I placed my order for the D4 dealer told me there are problems with the factory ones and they are to be discontinued due to water getting into them so left that option out on the build.
Would like to order a set for once she arrives

These were fitted by Boundary Car Care at Sutton in StHelens (http://boundarycarcare.co.uk/contact-us/) and initially the ones that they fitted some of the led's went out after a couple of weeks. They replaced them with the same type but the same thing happened to them. They then contacted their suppliers and they recommended the ones that are fitted now. They've been on the car for a couple of months now without any problems. I'm not sure of the exact make and model but i'm sure if you contact them they'll be able to help.
