Voice notes on HSE

Whenever I get in my car and turn on the ignition the voice recording feature (notes) always starts up automatically
How do I disable this ?
It has recorded some choice rows between the wife and me, which are comical on playback Laughing
Help needed please Question

The D4 handbook (I don't know how different the D3 is):
Voice control allows you to operate the telephone, navigation and touch screen systems using spoken commands. A notepad facility also allows you to record notes. The system is controlled by the Voice button, located on the steering wheel.

NOTEPAD
The notepad can be used to record notes, each up to 30 seconds long, which can be subsequently recalled.

RECORDING A NOTE
1. Briefly press the Voice button, wait for the tone to sound, then say RECORD NOTE.
2. Speak the note, then press and hold the Voice button to end and save the note.
Note: If the note exceeds 30 seconds the recording will end automatically.

Don't know why it would do it automatically - certainly for the D4 you need to initiate it by saying "RECORD NOTE".

Just put a deposit down on a MY13 HSE so it is a bit late to learn!

hahahah awesome!

I had no idea there was a notepad feature. I just tested it out and it works great; a bit tinny but workable.
