Headrest DVDs and GJVF connections

I have just bought headrest DVD units and each one has a video input and output (and sound). If I want the same video to play on both then I have to connect the output from one to the input of the other and visa versa. However if I do that I have then not connected it to my newly installed GIVF unit.
Is there a more clever way to do this?
The only other thing I can think of is one input from one of the DVD units connect to the GIVF and then connect the GIVF output to one of the screen inputs but this would mean only one screen s picture would be sent to the touch screen in the dash? Also would this mean that the screen connected to the GIVF unit would then get the reversing camera picture pop up when in reverse?

Thanks

I don't have this problem BUT, presuming your input on screen 1 is a 3.5mm jack plug, can't you incorporate one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-5mm-JACK-AUX-H...115wt_1037 and have two inputs into screen 1.

Or have I missed something dead obvious? Embarassed

The output to the satnav screen is independent to the outputs to the rear screens, connect one DVD output to one phono input on the gvif lowest letter not used ie "A" video and Left R audio, connect video out "A" to other rear screen, set dip switch "A" to off, (off is usually up not down).
You should now get picture on all three screens with satnav working in back ground with audio guidance on front right speaker only and no satnav screen on rear, but satnav on front if required by pressing input mode button on dash, video should play on rear speakers uninterrupted while DVD is playing.
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
