yes - just buy the complete window switch and audio controls - they plug straight in.

No they don't

The ones in the boot do though it takes a bit of searching for the connectors. The ones in the door appear to have a different loom that does note have the second connector for the audio bit.

I searched inside the door for the plug for ages on mine before giving up!

The ones in the doors do work, as a couple of folks on here (and one stateside) have done it. I wonder if it depends on what audio setup you have (i.e, if your is a base model)?

I've a 2005 se and was drooling with anticipation the day my audio controles turned up in the post. I should have taken the door apart for a quick look before throwing bear tokens at the job. Turns out I don't have the loom in the doors to plug these bad boys in. They'll fit the electric windows but the second audio plug isn't in the door. I didn't bother stripping the back out as its rare anyone ever uses those seats.. Anyways I guess the lesson here is make sure you have the required loom before throwing money at it.. Incedently, I've a set of 4 rear audio controles in my tool box if anyone wants to cross my palm a little.
Narpy Grill, tinted windows, Smooth leather wheel (TLO Group buy), ACM fitted (thanks TLO), Rear door loom and Row 2 & 3 audio switch upgrade, RRS 20" wheel change, 285 Cooper LTZ's Sat Nav Mod (until I get a Faultmate upgrade), Front & Rear lamp guards. 4x4 screen now switched on - Woody32, Follow me home reverse lights - woody32, Auto release EPB - Woody32. Off Road Navigation - Woody32. Remap + EGR's switched off. Full chassis clean and Waxoyl.

yes, a LR technician did this in my D3 circa March 2007 Laughing (I'll get my coat Wink )

seriously, as I understand it, you need the clever bit of kit in the front to get different sounds into them though, otherwise, you are just fitting headphones jacks for the same source....

good luck!
