Hi Fabio,
I have recently been through 2 sets of front discs as a result of steering wheel wobble when braking.
I ended up getting original land rover supplied discs and since then problem solved.
On both the previous occasions the discs were only 3-4k miles old and they started the vibration during braking.
I would suggest that may be worth trying.
With regards warranty LR garage wont be interested if it is them as its good old wear and tear unless you have an amazing warranty or a very friendly garage.

Thank you
no the warranty isnt that good neither the garage is that friendly... Sad
does this happend from one minute to the next?
Is there a reason?
Cause i try not to break too hard.
i am probably going to leave it for a while to see if it gets worse.

Thank you.

"warped brakes" are usually created when the discs overheat under severe heavy breaking!!

IMO but `i maybe mistaken, however time will not help them get better!!!

If the steering wobble is only under braking it would usually be the front only.

You would not normally be able to see this as you would need to put it on a "jig" to see the difference in each plane..... It would be literally millimetres ....

They are easy to change yourself.

Yes in my last 2 cases it was just the front discs and the symptoms were vibration through the steering wheel when braking. Interestingly there was little feel through the brake pedal.
Also in my case I have no recollection of any excessive heaving braking that may have induced it. Just possibly inferior quality parts.
I thought it may have been due to a sticking caliper but that wasn't the case in the end.
Someone else also told me that warped discs could be as a result of braking quite heavily say coming off a motorway slip then coming to a junction and keeping the foot on the brake instead of engaging the park brake. This leave the hot pads on one point for some time that could wrap the disc.
Sound like you should start with new front discs anyway.

It might have been any of those really.
I noticed it coming back from London .
I don't think there was anything wrong when going there.
I have to change the pads ill do the discs as well.

Thank you

Fabio
