Armorgard Paint Protection
Hi,
Various discussions about what is the best paint protection system. Someone gave me a link to ArmorGard, so I thought I'd post their std pricing etc if anyone is interested.
Image of diagram in my gallery below, pricing in here. (couldn't add the image to the post unfortunately )
PS, I'm not selling for them, nor do I have any affiliation to them in any way shape or form. Just passing on the info. Might have some light protection and the front endge of the bonnet. Haven't decided if I'll have anymore than that yet, but maybe there's potential for a group buy here? (i'm happy to contact them to see if they're open to it if enough interest)

I've spoken to the manager at Scratchgard, they are going to quote for the full monty protection, basically exactly the same as the cad drawing above, but with a panel to protect the paint just above the top of the windscreen.
I'll be in the office tomorrow, so I'll report back as soon as I know more.
Time to add, that I'm in no way connected to this co. Having had a similar product on one of my HSV's I was keen to get it on my D3. I did a fair bit of research & the 3m film seemed to be the best product.
These guys came back with a very good price. They did an excellent job, in a short time, dropping me off at a nearby hotel so I could do some paperwork & have lunch, then collecting me when It was ready. They mainly do window tinting & were working on several "expensive" new cars when I was there.
Good people to deal with.

Spoken with Scratchgard, they will give me a "forum members" price tomorrow. Price for window tinting as well.
I'll post it up properly then & speak to a moderator about getting a sticky on it.

Might as well stick both to give people options? Or both all in one sticky post?

Hmm, seeing as Scratchgard don't support the forum but offer a discount I think it's only fair that all options are considered...06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

I'm in Barcelona rest of this week, so If I can remember to drop them an e-mail, perhaps we'll have competing bidders in the sticky protection market Bodsys Brake Bible

O.K I have the prices for the paint protection & the window tinting. Very competitive they are to As they include fitting & VAT. Word of warning, don't attempt to fit this stuff yourself (I know someone who purchased a diy kit & totally spannered it up). Practise makes perfect & you want it to be perfect!
Waiting to chat to Martin to see how best to publicise them.
