Dud compressor or ride height sensor....help!
Hi all and happy Friday
I had a compressor replaced in March this year and low and behold i have now had a suspension fault warning along with the yellow vehicle illuminated. This has happened after i had just raised the suspension last night to see how i replaced the intercooler hose (bottom end) now the car is is normal height thankfully but i have no illumination at the ride height switch and no noise whatsoever from the compressor not even the dump noise and self adjustment when you leave and lock the vehicle!
The landrover dealer suggested that it may be a defective compressor as they have chnaged the design since mine was fitted, does anyone know if this is th ecase and i could just have a dud, or would a simple ride height sensor cause this type of failure. I want to get th ediagnostics done but stealer wants £67 plus vat (free if its proved to be th ecompressor as they will exchange under parts warranty) what should i do, anyone local to me in windsor who can carry out disgnostics cheaper than the stealer?
Thanks

When they changed the compressor did they upgrade the software IIRC the new compressor needs software changes? Worth a search on here.Tony

Back end has sunk to stops now but front is held at normal ride height is. This normal with no compressor active......(I thought it would sink slowly over time if left?)
