I have a grinding noise from the front when turning or decelerating at lowish speeds and approaching stop. Tyres all ok as is alignment. Seems to be front wheel bearings. Is this likely to be it (at 150k+) ? Cooper S/Ts, Dynamic 17x7s, Rotronics 3 way battery control, Boab drawers, Polaris camera, Mitch Bros tow, 4x4Intell wheel carrier and cargo barrier, Obie's rear wndow protector, Windcheetah roofrack, Featherlite rooftop tent, Faultmate, Trakmaster Nullabor 17. VK3PR VHF UHF.

Yes, 150k without changing a bearing is pretty damn good!!(VERY good)
Could also be cv joint, but wheel bearing is usually the one. Bodsys Brake Bible

Jack the car up. See if there is lateral movement of the wheel. They are not bad to change - I did both mine in less than 3 hours. Check the otherside.

SWMBO's grinding noise was tyres! Lesson: Keep your own counsel on mechanical matters. Whew!
