That solves the problem then. Having said that, I was always under the belief that if you modified a unrelated part and it was found to have no influence on any failure they couldn't use it as a excuse not to honour a warranty anyway.
Steve I have a IID tool for the D3, how long until the new firmware you mentioned, keen to try it out.

Absolutely! The problem is that a major tactic in todays business world is intimidation. So the manufacturer will state: sorry. And you will have to hire a lawyer and shoot back. Many customers will shy the risk because they do not know the odds and feel that they have no chance against the corporate giant anyway.
Ugly.
The FW update will be going to betas in the next couple of weeks and available to regular customers a couple of weeks after - so it will still be towards the end of the year. But still within our original schedule www.gap-diagnostic.com
