Is this a new description Nick, or an old one that you have just noticed ?

Would imagine that this is related to VOSA. Character had issues with his tow bar and I read his thread and am sure he said that LR would be issuing something about tow bars and the quick release one and it's use.

cheers

Yes that's what I thought when Nick mentioned it. I wonder if that's the "verification" that some forum members need, to believe what Character was warning us about Whistle

Given that there is no recall ...this is basic and general advice....I haven't received a doomsday letter....90% of people or more fall into the not constant but occasional use ....then I believe that I am very comfortable that my balanced perspective has been vindicated thanks Wink Thumbs Up

Still lists both as 3500kg and 150kg nose weight. I almost expected them to drop the figures on the removable bar to put clear water between the HD and 'occasional use' version.

So what makes it 'occasional use' and how many uses are too much?

10 uses, 100 uses, 1000 uses?

Will those who use a removable bar for lightweight yet commercial loads have their insurance invalidated as they are using a mere 'leisure tow bar'?

Bit of a mess really given the quick 6 years since they were launched.
