just checked the sat nav disc its 2004 on it what are the benifit of upgrading to a new disc?

Now I need help I have a hdc fault and transmission error can't start the car the only thing I did was talk the disc out and put it back in

I upgraded mine from a 2005 to 2010, loads of upgrades and features. Best is you can put an address in on the move amongst others. No idea why you are now getting error messages and not starting ?

If you have been messing with the battery on then it might be to low you need to charge it up then
Let the car go to sleep bud then see if that has cleared the faults if not then do the hard reset by disconnecting both battery leads and join them together for 30 secs and see if that does it.
