Which oil for door & tailgate locks please? |
|
The subject almost says it all; I mean locks (i.e. in the key hole) not latches & hinges
Should I be using:-
spray silicone lubricant ?
WD-40 ?
Specialised graphite lubricant, in which case which one?
Some thing else ?
NJSS Am I Gammon or Woke ? - I neither know nor care.

Any type of graphite lock lube available from all good hardware stores, in a little plastic bottle with a spout on the end.
Don't use WD40 or oil as that will just attract dust and dirt. Displaced Yorkshireman.
