Hi Andy finally got the phone hucked up to iTunes,but it's says it's please insert correct sim card which means its locked to Vodaphone.
I am not sure if once activated it my take my 02 sim?i need to buy a Vodaphone sim and try it, if this fails I will need you to call Vodaphone and request it to be unlock to all networks,which vodaphone have to do ,the only down side is they charge you a fee for doing it normally £20.
If this is not Possible it's no good to me and would prefer a refund 
Just thought I would update you

Ash,
I did try this with a 3 sim card and it worked fine but the phone was also supplied direct from Apple.
I have sent you a PM and will gladly pay for an unlock if its required but I will also check to see if I can get it unlocked from vodafone.
