can bus & lin bus question
I have a 2010 rrs heated steering which apparently operates on a Lin bus system. ! As opposed to the can bus system on the d3 , And will be fitting to a hse d3 obviously need the clock spring to suit , any knowledgeable chaps on here that can tell me what problems I could face fitting this ?Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where,s the f**king ceiling!!

All your buttons will be in the wrong order .G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

So just a matter of re-pinning the connectors then ! And no problems with any voltage differences ?Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where,s the f**king ceiling!!

each switch puts out a voltage to make a function work ....there all different on the 2010 wheels
Colin from BBS was making some boards which would set the commands back to the correct order ...but its still not completeG4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Would it be possible in theory to use and adapt the old d3 steering wheels electrics to make this work ? Long shot I know but the bbs boards don't look to be getting done anytime soon ! Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where,s the f**king ceiling!!

Nothing's impossible ...
The circuits boards are a different shape .. Can't remember if connectors are the same
