In the same boat myself with the 60k service next couple weeks 56 model. given the temperament of the D3 and D4 in general is it not best to stick with genuine parts brake bulbs being the classic example. Only asking cos if i can save ££'s on after market parts without compromise I'll take it. Why does every page of the manual have fingerprints?

We use Bearmach service kits in our own workshop, and never once had an issue. We have had a few issues with Britpart fuel filters not fitting properly, but this issue seems to have been resolved now
A quick search on Ebay for Bearmach TDV6 service kit reveals:

Thanks for the info Bit of a minefield when it comes to what part from what supplier, my mate with a D2 had problems with Britpart Filters doesn't use them anymore...Why does every page of the manual have fingerprints?

Never had any issues with Britpart filters on a TD5... Not to say there was not a dodgy batch at some point My D3 Build Thread
I use Catrol Magnatec, the Ford spec, as I know a few other on here do, (often on offer in Halfrauds) as for filters I use Mahle all around from my local motor factors and have had no problems in the last 20,000 Miles
