Tow bar clips
I have managed to snap one of the plastic clips which secure the cover for the tow bar electrics - the bits that you turn with a coin to loosen the cover- very low tech. It was inevitable - the quality is v poor - amazed that LR think they are remotely adequate.
Has anyone got a better solution that has worked- or do I just need to go to dealer and get another one ?
Thanks
Peter

I glued half a Waitrose plastic coin into each of mine and sprayed them black. Works fine. You can also use the clips off the battery cover which come with a finger grip.
Why they don't do this as standard is anyones guess - it is clearly a panel one needs to open and shut frequently.

One of mine was snapped when I got the car. I use a cable tie that I sacrifice when needed. You see a lot of D3's with them missing!

I ended up phoning the dealer - they sent a new set out same day. Postage far cheaper than driving there to collect.
Still unimpressed with build quality of such a frequently used part.
