Turn audio sound off when reversing ??

Hi

I use a van for work and when I select reverse it turns the sound right down / off when the rear parking sensors start to work.

Is a mod available to have this function on a D3?

2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 S Auto Buckingham BlueDiscovery 3

Dead easy pick up a feed from the reverse light and run it to behind the stereo, connect that to pin 85 of a relay, pins 86 and 87 both to ground, and pin 30 on the relay connects to pin 10 in the 12 pin plug at the stereo. Prob take an hour or so.

Top Tip : I either turn the volume knob anti clockwise on the radio console ....or if you have it, press the minus button on the steering wheel volume button and hey presto Smile ....both reduce the sound level Thumbs Up
